BOOKING AND CANCELLATION POLICY

All bookings made are subject to our booking conditions and cancellation policy. – Compliance with this policy is deemed as accepted when you make a reservation. :
Bookings are a two way agreement between Guest and Pemberton Lake View Chalets. We commit to reserving a chalet for the Guest at the exclusion of all other inquiries and booking requests, and the Guest agrees to the conditions outlined below. When an accommodation booking is made (meaning the booking has been paid for in full, OR credit card details and contact information have been provided), the policy outlined below has been accepted by the Guest.

Booking Deposits: At the time of receiving your booking a deposit will be charged to the credit card you used to make the booking. The charge will be the dollar amount of the first night of your booking. For example if you book three nights at a total cost of $600 (ie- $200 per night), the amount charged for your deposit will be $200. Deposits are refundable SUBJECT TO OUR CANCELLATION POLICY (outlined below).

Peak Season Deposits: A non-refundable deposit equivalent to one night’s accommodation is due for the peak season of Christmas and Easter.

Cancellation Policy: All bookings cancelled or altered incur a $25.00 administration fee. Bookings cancelled within 7 days of the date of stay will incur a full charge. Bookings are transferable to friends or family in the event that a Guest cannot make their commitment to their booking. Pemberton Lake View Chalets will make every effort to refill cancelled bookings and if the cancelled booking is filled, only the $25 cancellation fee applies. If a Guest misses their reservation, and for any reason fails to arrive for their scheduled reserved start date, the booking will automatically be charged in full.

COVID related cancellations will only be refunded under the condition of a government ordered mandatory lockdown that restricts travel. Last minute cancellations due to personal issues unfortunately cannot be refunded.

Peak Period Bookings – Xmas and Easter: Due to the very high demand at these times Easter and Christmas bookings are not changeable. Due to this condition we advise you to choose your dates carefully.

Credit Card Details: Credit card details must be provided to make a booking and this is provided as security on the booking. The card will not be charged unless the Guest wishes to pay in advance, if the Guest cancels a booking, a $25 cancellation fee will be charged. If a booking is cancelled within 7 days of the start date of the booking a full charge of your booking fee will be made. You are not required to pay for your accommodation via credit card and can use cash or EFTPOS at the time of check-in.

Bookings without Credit Cards: If you don’t have a credit card you can make a reservation by providing full payment via direct transfer at the time of booking and then paying a cash deposit of $200 at the time of check-in.
